Job Title: Lead Enterprise Architect

Role Purpose

The Lead Enterprise Architect is responsible for leading the design and definition of the AS-IS and TO-BE enterprise architectures across all architectural domains. The role ensures architectural integrity, consistency, and alignment to recognised enterprise architecture frameworks and industry best practices, enabling effective business and ICT transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of AS-IS and TO-BE architectures across business, data, application, and technology domains

  • Ensure architectural integrity, coherence, and traceability across all EA artefacts

  • Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards, principles, and guidelines

  • Ensure alignment of architecture designs to organisational strategy and transformation objectives

  • Provide architectural governance and design assurance across programmes and projects

  • Guide and mentor architects and technical teams on EA best practices

  • Support roadmap development and transition planning from current to target state

Minimum Qualifications & Certifications

  • TOGAF Certification and/or Zachman Framework Certification

  • Relevant ICT or Engineering qualification (advantageous)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in designing and implementing enterprise architectures

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end EA across multiple domains

  • Experience within complex, large-scale organisational environments (public sector experience advantageous)
