Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to manage and process payroll accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and compliance standards while ensuring timely salary payments and employee record maintenance.
Responsibilities:

Process and administer monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and local labor laws.

Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salaries, benefits, deductions, and tax information.

Calculate overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll adjustments as required.

Ensure compliance with statutory deductions such as PAYE, UIF, and pension contributions and submit reports to relevant authorities.

Generate payslips, payroll reports, and reconciliation statements for finance and HR teams.

Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Stay updated on tax regulations, labor laws, and payroll best practices to ensure compliance.

Coordinate with HR and Finance teams regarding new hires, terminations, salary changes, and leave payouts.

Assist in payroll audits, reporting, and year-end tax reconciliations.

Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll data and employee information.

Qualifications:

Minimum three to five years of experience in payroll administration.

Experience with payroll software systems such as Sage, VIP Payroll, or similar.

Knowledge of payroll legislation, tax regulations, and labor laws.

Experience in handling multi-company or multi-country payroll is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of payroll processing systems and software such as Sage, VIP Payroll, or PaySpace.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
