Job Title: Enterprise Architecture (EA) Tools Specialist and Trainer

Role Purpose

The EA Tools Specialist and Trainer is responsible for configuring, administering, and optimising the Enterprise Architecture (EA) tool, and for leading the knowledge transfer and training workstream to ensure SHRA self-sufficiency in the effective use, maintenance, and governance of the EA tool.


Key Responsibilities

EA Tool Configuration & Administration

  • Configure, customise, and administer the EA tool in line with organisational EA frameworks, standards, and methodologies.

  • Manage EA tool repositories, meta-models, views, artefacts, and reporting structures.

  • Ensure alignment of the EA tool with TOGAF, BPM, and EA governance requirements.

  • Support EA practitioners in the effective use of the EA tool for modelling, analysis, and reporting.

  • Maintain data quality, version control, and access management within the EA tool.

Training, Knowledge Transfer & Change Enablement

  • Lead the knowledge transfer and training workstream to ensure SHRA internal capability and long-term self-sufficiency.

  • Develop and deliver structured EA tool training programmes, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced user training.

  • Produce and maintain training materials, user guides, SOPs, and reference documentation.

  • Deliver hands-on workshops, coaching, and on-the-job training for EA practitioners and stakeholders.

  • Support change management activities to drive adoption and effective use of the EA tool.


Qualifications & Certifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture, ICT, or related field

  • EA Tool Certification (e.g. Sparx EA, Archi, LeanIX, Bizzdesign, or equivalent) – Mandatory

  • Training and/or Change Management CertificationMandatory (e.g. Change Management, Train-the-Trainer, PROSCI, or equivalent)


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing and configuring Enterprise Architecture tools

  • Proven experience delivering technical training and structured knowledge transfer programmes

  • Demonstrated experience supporting EA teams and enabling organisational self-sufficiency

  • Experience in public-sector or large enterprise environments (advantageous)
