The role is responsible to secure the company premises and assets and to ensure that procedures are adhered to according to the company policy and procedures
Main Responsibilities
Effective observation of driver/crew adherence to company procedures whilst operational Reporting of faulty/defective operational equipment Effective communication with the Control room and armored Vehicles Completion of daily road check inspection list Effective reporting of breaches and non-compliance of operational procedures to the Supervisor Through monitoring ensure that operational on-road policies and procedures are adhered to at all times Escorting bulk banking and other armored vehicles in high-risk areas Safeguarding of armored vehicles during breakdowns and after attacks on armored vehicles Inform the National Control Centre (NCC) and Joint Operations Centre Controller (JOC) of potential robberies based on information received to ensure that all the relevant authorities are informed Provide immediate assistance during incidents using quick response to stabilize the situation Provide aid to emergency services and give feedback to the Control Room When effecting an arrest in the absence of the police use minimum force and correct arrest procedures as set out in the Criminal Procedure Act Utilize protection methods that are in line with the threat without hindering normal operations and putting people's lives in danger Ensure that information is restricted to that individual on a “Must and Need” to know basis Defend attacks within the perimeters of the law. Report all safety incidents to the relevant people Discuss all safety incidents on all levels Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management Attend safety education and refresher programmes Comply with safety policies and procedures at workplace Distribute safety information as and when required Wear protective clothing all the time
Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 PSIRA Grade C Cash In Transit Certification Armed Response Certification Drivers License Business Firearm Competency for business purposes Medical fitness certificate for the use of a firearm Clear Credit and criminal record Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Cash in Transit/Armed reaction Ability to deal with Pressure/Time Management Good Communication skills Problem Solving and Decision Making Technology Savvy Good Work Standards Contact informationLisbe Kock |
