Purpose of the Role

The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will assist in the planning, design, and execution of mechanical systems and equipment within engineering projects. The role provides practical exposure to mechanical design, thermal systems, energy efficiency, and project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in mechanical design, modelling, and analysis using engineering software.

  • Support the preparation of layouts, specifications, and bill of quantities.

  • Conduct field inspections, testing, and performance evaluations.

  • Participate in feasibility studies and technical reports.

  • Provide input during tender preparation and project proposals.

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in professional training and mentorship programmes.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc / B.Eng) in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 0–2 years’ experience in an engineering or industrial environment.

  • Familiarity with design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is advantageous.

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, energy systems, piping, or rotating equipment preferred.
