andBeyond has recruited and trained all of its guides through our guide training schools since 1996.

Through multiple interview rounds and a three-month selection course, based at Mwewe Guide Training school, we invest time in truly getting to know each candidate—far beyond what a traditional interview allows.

Steps to apply:

1) Send CV and application letter.

2) If the candidate meets the required criteria, the Regional Trainers will schedule an interview. This might be in person, telephonic or virtual and, if successful, will be followed up with further interviews.

3) Invitation to Mwewe training course. Participation on this course is not a guarantee of employment. In fact, it is part of the recruitment process, and candidates may be dropped from the course at any point.

4) Successful candidates will sign an employment contract.

Please only upload your CV and Cover letter on this platform.

Tanzanian Citizens also need to make sure they have the following:

· Tanzania guiding license provided by the government, issued at TALA offices.

· Certificate from a recognized training institution in tour guiding.

· First aid with a valid certificate.

· Driving certificate from a recognized institution (VETA or NIT)

· Valid Class C driving license

· National identification card to prove citizenship

· Health certificate

Please note that if you are not selected to attend the course, we will unfortunately not be able to provide you with further feedback.
