Our Travel Desk plays a key role in shaping memorable guest experiences by assisting with transport, tours, excursions, and local travel arrangements. As we continue our journey toward luxury, we are seeking an experienced Hotel Travel Desk Agent who understands service excellence, attention to detail, and personalised guest engagement.

This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with hotel front office or concierge experience, strong destination knowledge, and the ability to manage travel bookings in a fast paced hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist hotel guests with airport transfers, shuttle services, tours, excursions, car hire, and local travel arrangements
• Liaise with trusted tour operators, transport providers, and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery
• Provide accurate destination advice, recommendations, and itineraries tailored to guest preferences
• Manage bookings, confirmations, amendments, and cancellations efficiently
• Handle guest enquiries via email, telephone, and in person in a professional and welcoming manner
• Ensure all bookings are accurately captured and communicated to relevant departments
• Maintain clear records, reports, and daily handovers
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally

Minimum Requirements

• Matric or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hotel travel desk, concierge, or front office role
• Strong knowledge of Cape Town attractions, tours, and transport logistics
• Experience working in a 4 or 5 star hotel environment
• Excellent communication skills, well spoken and guest focused
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and hotel systems
• Updated CV
