Our client, a growing online travel business is currently expanding and looking for a Host Success Consultant to join their sales team!

One would require a persistent and persuasive individual who can effectively communicate the benefits of partnering with the business. Someone who thrives in a is driven, has a solid understanding of the hospitality industry, and possess excellent communication skills.

Main purpose of the role would be to identify and engage with potential property partners and property management companies, by sourcing new leads per geographical area. The Host Success Consultant will work closely with the Sales team and report directly to the Sales Manager.

The role will entail 95% outbound communication and 5% inbound communication.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Research and identify potential property listings per assigned geographic area.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective properties, ensuring a consistent flow of new listings.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Manager to strategise and meet listing targets.
  • Maintain and update the CRM with accurate information and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager on lead prioritisation.
  • Provide feedback on Market Insights tot the Sales Manager to improve strategies when needed.
  • Attend regular team meetings and participate in training sessions to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Gain a good understanding of the OTA landscape within South Africa and Namibia.
  • Stay informed about market trends and industry practices to position the business effectively and assist our hosts in staying competitive.

Minimum skills and requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years proven customer services experience gained ideally within hospitality management, travel & tourism, property (accommodation), SAAS (Software sales as a Service), tech or digital or retail a related consultative role.
  • Experience gained within a high outbound communication environment is highly advantageous!
  • Sales experience is highly advantageous with the ability to pursue leads and convert leads
  • Exposed to a target driven environment.
  • solution-based selling or client engagement experience highly advantageous!
  • Must have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills
  • Proficient in using various software tools, CRM systems, Zoom and Google Office Suite.
  • Must be able to communicate in both Afrikaans and English, verbally and written.

 

Working hours: 7:30 to 16:30, 8:00 to 17:00 and 8:30 to 17:30.

Agents will be required to work some weekends depending on shifting, usually just 1 weekend a month, either a Saturday or Sunday / or both.

Agents will be compensated for working on weekends

Agents will be required to work some public holidays and will receive compensation for this.
