As our Commis Chef, you will ensure our guests receive world-class service, award-winning cuisine, and memorable experiences at our conferences & events, room service, bars, restaurants and lounge.

Part of your role will be ensuring that the culinary service standards are met and that service is run efficiently. Monitoring and maintaining the guest experience by ensuring that every one of our guests receives personalised attention and experiences every time will form part of your duties.

Along with your Culinary-related Tertiary Qualification, you have 1 year’s experience in a similar role in a busy, up-market establishment. You’re able to work various shifts as well as across multiple kitchens and outlets. 

An outstanding communicator, you are neat and professional with an understanding of food preparation and storage and competency in operating kitchen equipment. You demonstrate an awareness of contemporary, international, and innovative food trends and strongly emphasise food and hygiene safety.
