Game Ranger

Job Duties:

• Patrol designated area to ensure safety of guests and wildlife
• Monitor and maintain wildlife habitats
• Assist with wildlife research and conservation efforts
• Provide guided tours and educate visitors about local flora and fauna
• Respond to wildlife emergencies and enforce park regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Game Ranger
• Knowledge of local wildlife species and conservation practises
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

Diploma or degree in Wildlife Management, Conservation, or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Game Ranger

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient in tracking and identifying wildlife
• First aid and wilderness survival skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Field guide certification
• Experience working in a safari lodge or national park

Working Conditions:

• Live-in accommodation provided
• Frequent outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Potential exposure to wildlife hazards
