Are you a hands-on hospitality professional with leadership skills and a strong background in reservations? A luxury boutique hotel in Cape Town’s City Bowl is looking for an experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the smooth running of front office and guest services during your shift.
• Manage daily check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions with professionalism and warmth.
• Handle and oversee all reservations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and revenue optimization.
• Support and guide front office and service teams, stepping in where needed.
• Ensure guest concerns or complaints are handled promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and uphold service standards, housekeeping readiness, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform basic financial and administrative duties, including shift handovers and reporting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within a boutique or 4/5-star hotel environment.
• Strong reservations experience is essential – familiarity with booking systems and channel management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to multitask across departments.
• Calm, confident, and solutions-focused under pressure.
• Well-presented, guest-focused, and highly organised.
