About this team: 

We are looking for an experienced SAP project and programme delivery leader to add breadth and depth to our highly successful team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Deloitte teams on complex SAP technology projects and programmes for our clients, and advising clients on programme management, structure and effectiveness.

Typical engagements include:

  • Delivery of complex SAP projects and programmes that achieve fantastic outcomes on behalf of Deloitte or their clients across the SAP suite of services, such as S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud, SuccessFactors, Concur, and Ariba.
  • Advisory work in relation to project and programme delivery, including Implementation and Coaching of Delivery Frameworks, Independent Quality Assurance or Project Diagnostic and Recovery Services

Job Description

You are someone with experience in:

Service Delivery

  • Full responsibility at the delivery level for personnel, finance, reporting, planning, contract management and project delivery
  • Full responsibility to maintain and continuously improve high quality service standards for internal and external clients
  • Contributing to the development and growth of a consulting practice
  • Operating to best practice standards and methods
  • Consistent compliance with internal quality management systems and quality assurance
  • Leading project tendering, briefings, negotiations and appointment of project consultants on behalf of Deloitte and our clients as required
  • Leading hybrid teams with client and sub-contractor personnel, including managing the relevant contractual and governance arrangements
  • Ability to manage more than one client engagement and contribute to parallel internal initiatives

People

  • Being a leader who promotes a strong team culture and good communication
  • Ensuring all team members are fully effective in their roles and are engaged in ongoing development through training
  • Regular support with clear direction for team members, as well as frequent performance and personal development reviews
  • Planning personnel needs and recruitment of new team members
  • Career coaching staff outside your project team

Clients

  • Actively managing high quality client delivery and nurturing ongoing relationships
  • Building personal networks to develop new business from existing and desired clients
  • Leading teams to positively represent the company to clients and other stakeholders
  • Working with leadership across the organisation to identify, tender for and secure new business

Your typical day will include:

  • Building lasting relationships with our clients and internal functional and technical teams to gather technical requirements, design specifications and define solutions that are fit for purpose.
  • Owning and delivering full lifecycle of cloud or hybrid SAP integration solutions, including testing and post go live support.
  • Managing a pipeline of competing project priorities and supporting tickets across various clients while collaborating with various Deloitte communities to deliver high quality results.
  • Helping to continuously develop high performing people and culture aligned to Deloitte’s values, making an impact that matters, and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Mindfulness to continuously cultivate client relationships, with an active involvement with sales and procurement processes.
  • Ensuring the quality of delivered integration solutions are in accordance with Deloitte’s delivery standards and templates

Qualifications

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:

  • 10+ years SAPERP delivery experience, with 5+ years in SAP programme delivery
  • 3+ years in a professional services organisation
  • Proven ability to lead business development activities
  • Experience in management and development of employees
  • Experience / Qualifications in relation to Traditional and Agile Delivery Methods
