Our client with a national footprint within the financial sector seeks the duties of a highly skilled Wealth Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Build, manage, and retain a portfolio of high‑value clients.
  • Conduct in‑depth financial needs analyses and develop personalised long‑term financial plans.
  • Provide ongoing advice on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and risk management.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to review performance, adjust strategies, and ensure alignment with evolving goals.

Financial Planning & Advisory

  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans incorporating long‑term savings, retirement products, investment vehicles, and risk‑cover solutions.
  • Analyse client portfolios and recommend appropriate long‑term investment strategies.
  • Ensure all advice is compliant with FAIS, FICA, TCF, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Present complex financial concepts in a clear, client‑friendly manner.

Investment & Portfolio Management

  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and product developments within the long‑term insurance and investment industry.
  • Construct and manage diversified portfolios aligned with clients’ risk profiles and time horizons.
  • Collaborate with internal investment specialists to optimise portfolio performance.
  • Prepare performance reports and conduct periodic portfolio reviews.

Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities within existing and prospective client networks.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, client events, and referral programmes.
  • Contribute to the growth of the wealth‑management division through proactive client acquisition and retention strategies.

Compliance & Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records, advice files, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all transactions, recommendations, and disclosures meet regulatory and internal governance standards.
  • Support audit processes and internal compliance reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment Management, Economics, or related field.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or progress toward it is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in wealth management, financial planning, or long‑term insurance advisory.
  • FAIS accreditation (RE5/RE1) and relevant product licences required.
  • Strong understanding of long‑term investment products, retirement funds, annuities, and risk‑cover solutions.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing a client portfolio.
