Job Duties:

The Book Keeper CPT will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budget preparation. They will also handle payroll processing, tax calculations, and liaise with external auditors.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess a relevant accounting qualification, such as AAT or equivalent. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations is essential.

Education:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.

Knowledge and Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software, excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities are required. Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA would be advantageous.

Working Conditions:

The Book Keeper CPT will work in an office environment, collaborating with finance and accounting teams. Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
