Position: Sous Chef
This is your chance to step into a kitchen that’s all about flair, finesse, and flavour. As Sous Chef, you’ll be second-in-command but first in precision — helping lead a talented team to deliver unforgettable meals in an unforgettable setting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support the Head Chef in leading day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Ensure every dish — from high tea to harvest-style dinners — is on point
  • Keep the kitchen running like a dream, even when the pressure’s on
  • Mentor junior staff and help build a strong, supportive brigade
  • Oversee food prep, stock levels, and kitchen cleanliness like a pro
  • Bring creativity to the menu while honouring local ingredients
  • Work across services: breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner, picnics, and private dining
  • Make sure every plate reflects our commitment to quality, taste, and luxury
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards

What You Bring to the Pass:

  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role, within luxury lodges, boutique hotels, or fine dining
  • Solid technical skills and a cool head during service
  • Passion for great food and even better guest experiences
  • A love for nature, seasonality, and local ingredients
  • Excellent communication and a collaborative spirit
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
  • Confidence, curiosity, and a commitment to consistency
