Essential Knowledge, skills and Experience: Technical and practical engineering skills in the Public Infrastructure Sector. A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the discipline, and the basic requirements of other disciplines. People skills / Ability to manage and motivate teams. Proven ability to execute designs, work as part of a team. Diligent and able to work under consistent pressure to meet deadlines. Design accuracy and attention to detail is crucial. Good problem-solving skills and application of engineering judgement. Business development and marketing skills / Client focused (both internal and external clients). Good financial acumen in project planning, control, and execution. A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements A sound knowledge of MS OFFICE software is essential such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Projects etc. A working knowledge of the various construction framework contracts is preferred. A minimum of 15 years technical and practical experience, post qualification, in Public Infrastructure projects including management talent.
