Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Events/Programme Manager to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of dynamic retail-focused events and initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact programmes for a major household brand known for innovation, customer loyalty, and a strong national footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of national and regional events, activations, and internal programmes

  • Assist in developing event timelines, budgets, and logistics plans

  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery

  • Coordinate communications and marketing support for events and initiatives

  • Manage guest lists, RSVP processes, venue bookings, and supplier logistics

  • Provide on-site event support and post-event wrap-ups including reporting and feedback collation

  • Track and manage programme deliverables across multiple workstreams

  • Contribute to creative brainstorming and content planning sessions

Key Skills

  • Strong organisational and project management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • 2-4 years’ experience in an events, programme coordination, or project support role

  • Exposure to retail or consumer brand environments is advantageous

  • Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends during events

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
