🍽 Pass Controller – R15 000

We are seeking a highly organized and attentive Pass Controller to efficiently manage the flow of orders between the kitchen and dining area, ensuring smooth communication and consistent food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Coordination – Manage order tickets between the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely, accurate delivery of dishes.
2. Quality Control – Monitor plating standards, portion sizes, and presentation before food leaves the kitchen.
3. Communication – Act as the link between chefs and front-of-house staff, ensuring all orders are clear and correctly prepared.
4. Issue Resolution – Quickly identify and resolve any order discrepancies or delays.
5. Efficiency Monitoring – Maintain a steady workflow during busy service periods and ensure dishes reach guests promptly.
6. Cleanliness & Standards – Keep the pass area clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety regulations.

Requirements & Skills:

• Matric (Grade 12) required; hospitality qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hotel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining service excellence.
• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
