Job Overview:
The Content & Social Media Co-Ordinator is responsible for bringing the Dream Hotels & Resorts brand, individual property stories and relevant business unit initiatives to life across organic social media and content channels.The role manages the day-to-day social content engine across the group: maintaining the content calendar, sourcing stories from properties and relevant business units, coordinating content production, publishing content, managing communities and ensuring that the group maintains a consistent, engaging and commercially relevant digital presence.The position acts as the bridge between what is happening across the properties, central support teams and wider Dream Hotels & Resorts business units, and what guests, partners and audiences see online.
Key responsibilities
- Content planning and editorial management
- Own and maintain the group social media and content calendar.
- Translate the annual marketing calendar into weekly and monthly content plans.
- Balance group brand storytelling, individual property and business unit exposure, tactical offers, seasonal campaigns, experiences and destination content.
- Identify content opportunities around school holidays, long weekends, events, celebrations and travel trends.
- Maintain appropriate content coverage across the portfolio.
- Coordinate content requirements with properties, central support teams and relevant business units in advance.
Social media management
- Manage approved group, property and relevant business unit social channels.
- Schedule and publish organic content.
- Proactively identify and action ad hoc social media posts aligned with relevant current events, travel trends, property-level updates, weather impacts, guestfacing information and real-time opportunities, applying own initiative to ensure channels remain current, relevant and responsive.
- Adapt content appropriately by platform rather than simply reposting identical assets.
- Adapt tone of voice, messaging and creative approach in line with each property’s unique identity, positioning and target audience, ensuring content feels relevant, authentic and distinct while remaining aligned to the broader Dream Hotels & Resorts brand.
- Maintain posting schedules and channel hygiene.
- Ensure captions, links, tags, hashtags, locations and calls to action are accurate.
- Support property launches, business unit initiatives, competitions, campaigns and tactical offers.
Community management
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions and guest interactions.
- Respond in accordance with approved tone-of-voice and response guidelines.
- Escalate complaints, sensitive matters and operational issues appropriately.
- Identify recurring guest questions or feedback themes.
- Encourage meaningful engagement and positive guest advocacy.
Content sourcing and production
- Maintain regular communication with properties, central support teams and relevant business units to source content, updates, stories and campaign requirements.
- Develop briefs for photography, video and short-form content.
- Coordinate user-generated content permissions where applicable.
- Maintain an organised content and asset library.
- Identify gaps in the group's visual content.
- Support property, business unit and creator/influencer content shoots where required.
Copywriting
Produce and/or edit:
- social captions;
- website/editorial content;
- campaign copy;
- property and business unit storytelling;
- promotional messaging;
- short-form video scripts;
- guest-facing marketing copy.
Performance
- Track and report on key KPIs such as reach, engagement rate, audience growth, website traffic, content performance by property, posting consistency, community responsiveness and campaign performance.
- Identify high- and low-performing content themes.
- Provide monthly social performance reporting.
- Turn performance insights into recommendations for future content.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
- 2–4 years' experience in social media, content or digital marketing.
- Hospitality, tourism, travel or lifestyle experience strongly advantageous.
- Excellent written English and strong copywriting ability.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging social formats.
- Basic content creation/video editing capability.
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills.
- Comfortable working across multiple brands, properties and business units simultaneously
