Hourly Paid

The Runner helps keep service smooth by assisting waitstaff, quickly delivering food and drinks, and keeping areas clean. This ensures a great guest experience with timely service and good teamwork between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Bring food and drinks from the kitchen and bar to guests quickly and professionally.
  2. Help servers set up and clear tables efficiently.
  3. Check that food and drink orders are correct before serving.
  4. Refill water, condiments, and other items for the restaurant, bar, and banquet areas.
  5. Keep service areas clean and organized by clearing plates and glassware.
  6. Work well with kitchen and service staff to keep things running smoothly.
  7. Restock cutlery, glassware, and linens when needed.
  8. Follow health and safety rules to keep everything clean and safe.
  9. Help set up tables and food stations for events and banquets & restaurants.

Minimum Requirements:

-         Prepared to work weekends and holidays and shifts

-         Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality industry is advantageous but not required.

-         Knowledge of restaurant and banquet operations is beneficial.

-         Training in customer service or food handling is a plus.

-         Satisfactory criminal record, subject to assessment of the nature, severity, relevance, and recency of any offence.
