Health and Safety Officer – SACPCMP registered

Epping

R30 000 – R35 000 pm.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify potential hazards in the workplace
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
  • Recommend measures to reduce or eliminate risks
  • Ensure company policies align with national safety legislation
  • Conduct safety training for staff
  • Raise awareness about safety practices and regulations
  • Investigate accidents, near-misses and unsafe conditions
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA or other relevant regulatory bodies
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections and trainings

What you bring to the table:

  • Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Familiar with MS Office and safety management software (e.g. SHEQ systems)
  • 3 years experience within a Construction/Electrical/Civil Engineering Industry
  • Matric Certificate
  • SAMTRAC (NQF Level 5)
  • National Diploma – Health/Safety Management (NQF Level 6) Advantageous
  • Code B or Higher drivers license
