Job Description
The CISSP-certified resource will provide specialist cybersecurity and information systems security support across security operations, risk management, security architecture, vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, monitor, and maintain information security controls to protect systems, networks, applications, and data.
- Support SOC operations, including threat monitoring, alert analysis, incident triage, escalation, and response activities.
- Conduct or support security assessments, vulnerability reviews, risk assessments, and control gap analysis.
- Assist in developing and maintaining security policies, standards, procedures, and technical guidelines.
- Support incident response, investigation, containment, remediation, lessons learned, and reporting processes.
- Provide input into secure architecture, network security, access control, identity management, endpoint security, and cloud security controls.
- Monitor emerging cyber threats and recommend appropriate preventative and detective controls.
- Support audit, compliance, and evidence-gathering activities relating to cybersecurity and information security.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, information systems security, SOC environments, security operations, vulnerability management, or cyber risk management.
- Strong understanding of security and risk management, asset security, security architecture, network security, identity and access management, security testing, security operations, and secure systems practices.
- Experience using or supporting cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security monitoring platforms.
- Ability to document findings, prepare security reports, recommend remediation actions, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Valid CISSP / Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification.
Knowledge and Skills
