Job Description

The Data Quality Assurance / Tester is responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data within banking and financial systems. This role ensures data integrity through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes, supporting the organisation’s commitment to high standards of data governance and regulatory compliance. The role involves designing, executing, and maintaining test cases and scripts to identify data defects and inconsistencies, collaborating closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute data test strategies and test plans.
• Perform ETL testing and database testing.
• Validate data migrations and integrations.
• Conduct regression, functional, and UAT testing.
• Identify, track, and resolve defects.
• Ensure compliance with banking data standards.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant IT qualification.
• 4+ years' Data Testing experience.
• Mandatory banking sector experience.
• Experience in data warehouse testing
