The Laundry Attendant is responsible for delivering a high standard laundry service to ensure that all linen and towels are clean, neatly ironed, and distributed to the relevant departments within the hotel. The role includes operating laundry equipment, handling cleaning materials and chemicals safely, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring timely turnaround of laundry items. The Laundry Attendant is also responsible for maintaining an organized and clean work environment while adhering to hotel procedures and standards.

Requirements:

–        Matric Certificate

–        Laundry experience in a hospitality environment

–        Strong physical health and stamina

–        Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

–        Knowledge of laundry processes, chemicals and equipment

Competencies:

–        Strong attention to detail

–        Good communication skills

–        Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

–        High level of responsibility and reliability

–        Strong understanding of hygiene and safety standards
