ATM Investigator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyse evidence to inform sound decision-making

  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure thorough investigative processes

  • Maintain strict adherence to legal and ethical standards throughout all investigations

Essential Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in Financial Studies, Law Enforcement, Criminology, or a related discipline

  • Proven experience conducting investigations within a Financial environment

  • Strong knowledge of investigative techniques and procedures

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • At least five years' experience in investigative roles within the ATM or CIT sector

  • Comprehensive understanding of ATM operations and protocols

  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Accounting, Law, or a related field

  • Professional certification in investigative techniques

  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Working Conditions:

This role may require working irregular hours and being on call during emergencies. Travel within the Kwa-Zulu Natal region may be necessary. The work environment is demanding and fast-paced, requiring a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity at all times.
