As we continue our journey toward luxury, we’re looking for experienced Room Attendants with a minimum of 2 years’ current housekeeping experience within a hotel environment who take pride in maintaining exceptional cleanliness, presentation and guest room standards.

Minimum Requirements
• Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
• Minimum 2 years’ current housekeeping experience within a hotel environment
• Previous Room Attendant experience within a busy 4-star or 5-star hotel environment advantageous
• Strong knowledge of hotel guest room cleaning standards and procedures
• Good understanding of bedroom and bathroom cleaning, linen handling and guest room presentation
• Ability to clean and prepare guest rooms efficiently within required timeframes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistently high standards
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to follow hotel Housekeeping procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional Housekeeping team
• Physically fit and able to perform the physical requirements of the position
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Reliable, punctual and accountable approach to work
• Professional grooming, presentation and attitude
• South African ID or valid South African work authorisation
• A fully updated CV with contactable reference details is essential
What You’ll Be Doing
• Cleaning and servicing guest rooms according to The President Hotel’s Housekeeping standards
• Preparing rooms efficiently and accurately for guest arrivals, stayovers and departures
• Ensuring bedrooms, bathrooms, linen, amenities and surfaces meet required cleanliness and presentation standards
• Making beds and replacing linen according to hotel procedures and quality standards
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, bedrooms and guest room surfaces thoroughly
• Replenishing guest amenities and supplies according to established room standards
• Ensuring every completed room is clean, organised and professionally presented before being released
• Maintaining a well-stocked and organised Housekeeping trolley throughout the shift
• Managing linen, guest amenities and cleaning supplies responsibly
• Assisting with the cleaning of corridors, service areas and designated public spaces when required
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues, damaged items and room defects promptly
• Reporting lost property and following hotel Lost and Found procedures
• Responding politely and professionally to guest requests when approached
• Escalating guest concerns or requests to the appropriate team member when required
• Following hotel hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times
• Working closely with Housekeeping colleagues and other hotel departments to support smooth daily operations
• Maintaining productivity while ensuring attention to detail and quality are never compromised
• Ensuring every guest room reflects the professional and elevated standards expected at The President Hotel
