Job Description

Our Client is looking for The FX Modernisation Technology Lead to be responsible for steering the delivery of foreign exchange technology modernisation initiatives within a leading banking and finance environment. The post holder works closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to facilitate seamless integration and migration from legacy systems to modern platforms.

Job Duties

  • Technology Lead – FX Deployment & Integration Platform:

The Technology Lead will be accountable for translating the target platform strategy and architecture into an implementable technology roadmap, delivery backlog, operating model and sustainable platform-support capability. The Technology Lead will define and embed the working model between the platform engineering team, the teams that operate and support the platform, enabling technology functions and feature teams consuming platform services. This will include clear accountability boundaries, service ownership, decision rights, engagement forums, intake and prioritisation, self-service and escalation paths, release and change governance, incident and problem management, service levels, capacity management and continual improvement.

The individual will convert the agreed model into technology deliverables, establish and lead the multidisciplinary team required to build and support the platform, coordinate dependencies across architecture, infrastructure, security, operations and feature teams, and be accountable for platform adoption, resilience, security, maintainability and measurable delivery outcomes.
