CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

The purpose of this post is to provide administrative support to the Learning Development staff and students

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • To provide effective service to Learning Development Staff and the front line office
  • Provide financial and administration functions
  • Provide logistics and administrative support for meetings, conferences, webinars and training events

 

▪       Implement and maintain a systematic filing system

▪       Coordinate relevant internal and external communication

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • An understanding of the university ITS ecosystem
  • An understanding of the developmental resource needs of staff and students;
  • Have proven coordination and liaison skills;
  • Possess strong facilitation skills;
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Have proven information and digital competencies;
  • Have proven attributes of confidentiality, transparency, integrity and teamwork.
  • Administration and Office management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be considered for appointment to this post, candidates should have complied with the following requirements:

  • M+3 or equivalent qualification
  • Have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in which the above competences have been gained.
