DRA Projects is looking for an experienced Senior EC&I Engineer to join its engineering team in Woodmead.

This is a senior technical role supporting concept, pre-feasibility, feasibility, EPCM and EPC projects, with involvement across design engineering, technical support, site support, commissioning, documentation and handover, client interface and multidisciplinary project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out and manage detailed EC&I engineering designs.

• Ensure discipline designs comply with DRA standards, client specifications, industry standards and relevant legislation.

• Coordinate interfaces between engineering disciplines.

• Review and verify technical information received from vendors, contractors and consultants.

• Provide discipline input into studies and proposals.

• Support site construction teams with engineering input.

• Participate in and support commissioning activities.

• Manage red-line drawing updates and project documentation.

• Support EC&I project resources, schedules, budgets and forecasts.

• Manage engineering activities across the project lifecycle from PFS and DFS through to execution.

• Liaise with clients and discipline engineers to ensure technical requirements and specifications are met.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng, BSc Engineering or BTech Engineering

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience

• Strong project engineering and/or minerals processing industry experience

• Experience across EPC/EPCM project implementation

• Strong technical knowledge of:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Instrumentation Engineering

  • Control Engineering

  • Power Systems

  • Energy Systems

• Specialist expertise in at least one of Electrical, Control or Instrumentation, with working knowledge of the other disciplines

• ECSA registration advantageous

• Engineering design tools and software experience advantageous
