Job Description
Scope: The Supplier is engaged for a service-based Analysis skill, to deliver core capabilities within our AMS and LMS Feature team initiatives. Responsible for translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and supporting the delivery team throughout the project lifecycle. The AMS and LMS feature team have multiple initiatives, business planned requests and unplanned requests that are injected for which the service is required.
- Deliverables: To analyze, design, solution, document and support the demand requests provided in each iteration over the duration of the contract, this includes however is not exclusive to: -
- Understand overall target architecture for AMS and LMS
- Capture and document the business need, objectives, scope, assumptions, constraints, and expected outcomes Analysis and design of new services as part of account services processing in CIB
- Stakeholder Analysis, Identify impacted stakeholders, decision makers, contributors, and communication needs
- Define the intended target process, business rules, user journeys, and operating model changes
- Support QA and UAT teams by clarifying requirements, reviewing test coverage, and validating business outcomes
- Support readiness activities, training input, operational handover, implementation validation, and post-implementation checks
- Identify interface touch points, message emits/ interaction touch points, and functional use cases for interaction with Core systems
- Analysis, design and testing including end to end connectivity of API deliverables
- Use case and Test case reviews including workshop facilitation
- Jira updates and management of reports
- Feasibility mapping and Analysis, including testing scenarios
- Workshop agendas, facilitation notes, and meeting minutes
- Decision logs, RAID inputs, assumptions, and dependency trackers
Acceptance Criteria : The Supplier is required to provide the services within the timelines as agreed with the client Technology manager as per the Programme Increment (PI) Iterations.
The Deliverables provided by the Supplier will be reviewed by the client feature team, Enterprise architect and various architecture forums to ensure that designs and solutions conform to the requirements, security patterns and strategic themes during each Programme Increment (PI).
- Team code is aligned to architecture solutions.
- Traceability exists between business objectives, requirements, solution design, test coverage, and business sign-off
- Required User acceptance test procedures approved, and API Gateway approval standards met.
- Business stakeholders confirm that the delivered solution meets the agreed need and is ready for implementation
- Dependencies, risks, assumptions, and open decisions are tracked and actively managed
- Any standards deviated from, will need to be corrected before deployment is approved, without service delivery disruptions.
- All solutions must be documented on Jira and Confluence repositories during the Iteration and kept up to date.
- For purposes of this Service Request, all deliverables listed including without limitation, any other documentation, templates, information and content created, developed and/or produced by the Supplier during the performance of Services under this Service Request constitutes Bespoke Intellectual Property that belongs to The client.
- Working Hours. Unless provided otherwise, the resources shall work for 8 (eight) hours a day. Should The client require the resources to work overtime, it shall request same in writing and the Parties shall agree to such overtime in writing. The resources may not work overtime without the express prior written consent of the client. It is specifically recorded that the client shall not pay for any overtime that is not approved beforehand in writing.
Disciplinary action.The Supplier will be exclusively responsible for taking disciplinary action against its resources in accordance with its own disciplinary code and counselling procedures and shall do so when reasonably called upon to do so by the client in writing. The Supplier shall advise the client, in writing, of the outcome of any disciplinary action taken against a resource.
Unsatisfactory performance. Where for any reason the client is not satisfied with the conduct or performance of the resources, The client will inform the Supplier thereof in writing, to enable the Supplier to institute appropriate action. The client shall provide the Supplier with all information, documentation and assistance as may be reasonably required by the Supplier to conduct any disciplinary or incapacity hearings effectively
The client request in writing the replacement of a particular resource for any reason whatsoever; or the resource be unable for any reason to perform his/her duties for an extended period at any time during the currency of the Agreement. The Supplier shall substitute another person, of equivalent skills and qualifications, to assume and complete the duties of the incapacitated resources on the same terms and conditions without unreasonable delay.
Required Experience
- Minimum 8 years' experience as a Business Analyst within Banking, Transaction Banking, Payments, Liquidity Management, Cash Management, or Financial Services environments.
- Proven experience in analysing, designing, and implementing business and technology solutions across complex enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile delivery frameworks, including Programme Increment (PI) planning, sprint ceremonies, backlog management, and iterative delivery.
- Extensive experience in requirements elicitation, business process modelling, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and documentation of business and functional requirements.
- Experience defining user stories, use cases, business rules, acceptance criteria, process flows, and operational models.
- Strong experience working with APIs, system integrations, middleware, message-based architectures, and end-to-end connectivity solutions.
- Experience supporting solution design reviews, architecture governance processes, and ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and security requirements.
- Proven experience supporting Quality Assurance (QA), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation readiness, and post-implementation validation activities.
- Advanced working knowledge of Jira and Confluence for requirements management, agile delivery, reporting, and documentation.
- Experience managing RAID logs, dependency tracking, decision registers, traceability matrices, and governance artefacts.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to interact effectively with Business, Architecture, Development, Testing, Operations, Product Owners, and Executive stakeholders.
- Experience within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Account Management Services (AMS), Liquidity Management Services (LMS), and transaction processing environments will be advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, Finance, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
Required Certifications
Mandatory (at least one):
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP); or
- Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA); or
- Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA); or
- BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis; or
- Equivalent recognised Business Analysis certification.
Preferred:
- Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA-AAC or equivalent).
- SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP), or SAFe for Teams certification.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Atlassian Jira Fundamentals or Jira Administration certification.
- TOGAF Foundation certification.
- API Design, Integration, or Solution Architecture certification.
- Banking, Payments, or Transaction Banking-related certification.
