Purpose
To independently manage a caseload of post-completion real estate finance matters, including loan servicing requests, redemptions, security releases and consent applications. This role serves as the primary point of contact for lenders, borrowers and third parties, ensuring efficient progression of matters in accordance with lender requirements and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Real Estate Finance servicing mailbox, handling enquiries from borrowers, borrowers’ solicitors and lenders promptly and professionally.
- Take ownership of a caseload of loan servicing matters from initial instruction through to completion.
- Process loan redemptions and coordinate the discharge of security at HM Land Registry and Companies House.
- Draught deeds of release, guarantee agreements, security release documents and letters of non-crystallisation with accuracy.
- Review leases in line with lender requirements, identifying and escalating any issues as necessary.
- Assess lease, assignment and other consent requests in accordance with lender criteria.
- Prepare clear and concise correspondence, reports and transactional documentation.
- Proactively progress matters, monitor service levels and resolve issues to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date file records, ensuring compliance with firm procedures, lender requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Build and nurture strong working relationships with lenders, borrowers and other stakeholders.
Experience Required
- Proven experience handling high-volume administrative, financial, legal or case management work.
- Experience working directly with clients and external stakeholders, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Familiarity with case management or workflow systems.
