The Procurement Controller is responsible for the effective procurement, control, and distribution of operational consumables, materials, and tools required for the installation, maintenance, refurbishment, and flighting of advertising assets across all business units within the Out-of-Home advertising network.

The role ensures that all operational teams have timely access to required materials while maintaining strict cost control, procurement governance, supplier management, and inventory accountability. The Procurement Controller supports operational efficiency by managing requisition processes, supplier sourcing, purchasing compliance, vehicle bookings for operations crews, and the tracking of tools and consumables issued through the internal inventory management system.

The position plays a key role in cost containment, procurement compliance, supplier performance, and operational readiness, ensuring that materials are procured competitively, issued accurately, and controlled in accordance with company policies.

Scope of Responsibility

The Procurement Controller oversees the end-to-end procurement and consumables control process for the Operations Centre and supports all operational divisions.

The role covers procurement and control of:

Operational Consumables, 

  • Steel and structural materials
  • Paint and coatings
  • Hardware (bolts, nuts, brackets)
  • Printing consumables
  • Installation materials
  • Electrical components
  • Adhesives, sealants, cable ties
  • Safety equipment and PPE
  • Cleaning and maintenance materials

Operational Equipment Control

  • Tools and installation equipment
  • Power tools
  • Maintenance equipment
  • Asset tracking and sign-out control

Fleet and Logistics Coordination

  • Vehicle booking management for operations crews
  • Allocation of vehicles to installation and maintenance teams
  • Vehicle usage scheduling

The Procurement Controller ensures all materials, tools, and equipment issued from the Operations Centre are properly authorized, tracked, and reconciled.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration (preferred)
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in procurement or inventory control
  • Experience in operations, construction, or maintenance environments advantageous
  • Experience with inventory management system.
