Bar Manager

(Monthly Paid - CTC)

You will manage all our bars, ensuring beverage service standards are met, training staff, and monitoring performance. As our Bar Manager, you will ensure bars are well stocked and operate efficiently while delivering a personalised guest experience.

You will respond promptly to guest feedback, tailor beverage experiences to meet individual preferences, and manage the smooth flow of service while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

Along with this, you will ensure all operational tasks are executed efficiently and effectively and train, motivate, and supervise staff to maintain a high-performing team.

You will work closely with other hotel departments to align bar services with overall operations and train bartenders and bar staff on service excellence, cocktail preparation, and product knowledge.

To be successful, you have a Hospitality Qualification from an accredited academic institution at Level NQF 5-7 with a minimum of 3 years’ cocktail and bartender experience in an upmarket bar as well as Mixology experience. WSET Level 1 will see you far in this role.

You must have a clean credit check as well as a satisfactory criminal record, subject to assessment of the nature, severity, relevance, and recency of any offence.

You will bring your strong expertise in MS365 and Micros, combining it with excellent verbal and written communication skills to excel in this role. Your in-depth knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, along with your talent for cocktail conceptualisation and understanding of market trends, will make you a key contributor.

With a focus on team leadership, client satisfaction, and commitment to quality, you will lead by example, providing feedback, directing operations, and driving results. Your ability to plan, collaborate, and perform under pressure will ensure success in a fast-paced environment, whilst utilising your sales skills to deliver exceptional outcomes.
