CORE PURPOSE OF JOB The post is responsible for research assistance on data collection, writing reports on innovative and commercialised research, managing the grants and the projects, obtaining ethics approval for research, and paper writing.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS • Research assistance and management support service to the operations in the FALF-FREF-NMU Research Chair on Entrepreneurship and Financial inclusion. • Reporting on commercialisation of research and innovation projects. • Grant management in all Entrepreneurship and Finance programmes. • Postgraduate support in all Entrepreneurship and Finance programmes including Master and Doctoral students’ support. • Liaison support with diverse agencies, bodies, and councils in the Entrepreneurship and Finance sectors. • Maintenance of a manual and electronic record system for all Entrepreneurship and Finance programmes.

REQUIREMENTS To be considered for this position the candidate or applicant should have complied with ALL the following requirements: • Female candidate with a postgraduate qualification at NQF Level 9 (master’s degree) • Entrepreneurship, commercialisation and research publication skills • Registered/ ability to register for a doctoral degree • Organisational skills, communication skills and report writing, computer skills (Ms Office, Internet Search Engines, and ITS), interpersonal skills • A sound understanding of the higher education sector environment, systems, and administrative processes and procedures.
