The receptionist is responsible for delivering a welcoming and professional first impression to guests. Duties include managing front desk operations such as guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations (phone and walk-in), assisting with the switchboard, and attending to guest needs promptly. The receptionist also supports administrative tasks, maintains the reception area’s presentation, and ensures compliance with financial procedures related to petty cash and floats.

Requirements:

–        Matric

–        Hospitality-related Tertiary Qualification (advantageous)

–        2 years’ Experience as a Front Office receptionist in hospitality environment

–        Work various shifts

–        Work across multiple functions (luggage handling, reception etc.)

–                      Computer literate, including MS Office and 2 years’ experience in Opera Cloud

Competencies:

–        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

–        Strong customer service focus

–        Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently

–        Proficient in office and reservation systems (e.g., MS Office, Opera Cloud)

–         Organized, professional, and detail-oriented
