Background & Objectives:
- The initiative aims to provide process engineering capability across Trade Online and related platforms to:
- Document, analyse, and optimise current-state business and technology processes across delivery, support, operations, and change enablement.
- Improve process clarity, accountability, efficiency, control, and standardisation across cross-functional teams.
- Identify process gaps, duplication, bottlenecks, control weaknesses, handoff issues, and opportunities for automation or simplification.
- Establish measurable future-state processes that support scalable delivery, operational resilience, auditability, and continuous improvement.
Scope of Services:
- Process engineering support for priority Trade Finance products, Trade Online enhancements, and related operational processes.
- Current-state process discovery, stakeholder interviews, process walkthroughs, and documentation of business and technology workflows.
- Identification of pain points, process inefficiencies, control gaps, role ambiguity, rework drivers, and opportunities for simplification.
- Definition of future-state processes, ownership models, handoffs, controls, service measures, and improvement recommendations.
Technical Implementation:
- Development of process artefacts including process maps, SIPOC views, RACI matrices, control points, decision logs, and operating procedures.
- Use of structured improvement methods such as define, measure, analyse, improve, and control practices to support evidence-based process optimisation.
- Alignment of process changes with product, feature analysis, software engineering, test automation, SRE, architecture, operations, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
- Support for implementation planning, change impact assessment, performance measurement, governance updates, and transition into business-as-usual operations.
