ROLE PURPOSE
Delivery Lead is responsible for ensuring that assigned initiatives are delivered predictably and professionally, through disciplined planning, coordination, execution control, and transparent reporting. The role supports business stakeholders by translating needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria (BA) and then driving delivery execution (PM) across analysis, build, test, release readiness, and go-live coordination. The role does not own business value definition, product prioritization decisions, or technical architecture authority; these sit with the relevant accountable roles.
ACCOUNTABLE FOR (AS DELIVERY LEAD):
- Delivery execution against agreed scope, timeline, and quality (including maintaining delivery plans and controlling changes).
- End-to-end delivery management practices: RAID, dependencies, cadence, reporting, and delivery of governance inputs.
- Coordinating release readiness activities and go-live coordination, ensuring all required sign-offs and operational readiness steps are completed.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and support change and adoption activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Delivery Planning & Execution (Project Management)
- Build and maintain integrated delivery plans (scope, milestones, resourcing, dependencies).
- Run delivery cadence (stand-ups/weekly updates) and coordinate delivery across business, technical, vendor, and operations contributors.
- Maintain RAID logs and ensure timely escalation with clear options and recommendations.
- Manage change control within agreed governance (scope changes, trade-offs, and impacts).
- Coordinate financial tracking input (estimates, budget vs actuals) in line with governance requirements.
2) Business Analysis & Requirements Support (where assigned)
- Review briefs and engage stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements and success criteria.
- Document functional requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria; ensure clarity and traceability.
- Support requirements review and ensure stakeholders understand impacts, constraints, and assumptions.
- Coordinate UAT readiness: test scope, test data, access, training readiness, defect triage processes and sign-off facilitation.
3) Governance, Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Produce clear status reporting (progress, risks, issues, decisions required) for steering / forum governance.
- Ensure governance artefacts are produced and maintained (charter/brief, plans, RAID, signoffs).
- Act as the day-to-day coordination point across stakeholders; ensure timely communication and alignment.
4) Delivery Quality & Handover
- Coordinate quality gates and readiness checks prior to deployment (UAT completion, technical validation inputs, operational readiness inputs).
- Coordinate operational handover activities (support documentation, monitoring/alerts where applicable, run-books, access) with Systems Operations.
- Facilitate post-implementation review and capture lessons learned and follow-up actions.
- At least 2 years' experience in Business analysis/Project manager roles
- Demonstrable experience delivering business/technology projects end-to-end within structured governance.
- Strong planning and coordination capability across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Comfortable running UAT readiness and coordinating go-live activities with operations and technical teams.
- Delivery management (scope/schedule/risks/issues/dependencies), strong organizational discipline.
- Clear written and verbal communication; executive-ready reporting.
- Requirement elicitation and documentation (where BA responsibilities are included).
- Problem solving and facilitation across cross-functional groups.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years' experience in Business analysis/Project manager roles
- Demonstrable experience delivering business/technology projects end-to-end within structured governance.
- Strong planning and coordination capability across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Comfortable running UAT readiness and coordinating go-live activities with operations and technical teams.
- Delivery management (scope/schedule/risks/issues/dependencies), strong organizational discipline.
- Clear written and verbal communication; executive-ready reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS (ADVANTAGEOUS)
- Project management certification (PMP/PRINCE2/Agile) or equivalent experience.
- Business analysis training/certification (BABOK/Six Sigma) where BA responsibilities are required.
