Petousis Family Hotels prides itself on being a respected & progressive employer brand, celebrated for our investment in employee wellness, the broader community, and the environment. We are looking to appoint a Marketing Co-ordinator to join our Head Office team, supporting marketing and storytelling activity across The Vineyard Hotel, Oude Werf Hotel and Stellenbosch Hotel. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career candidate looking to build practical experience within hospitality marketing, digital content, guest experience and brand storytelling in a fast-moving, operational environment.

This is a highly hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being present within the day-to-day life of a hotel environment rather than working purely behind a desk.

Marketing Co-ordinator

Newlands, Cape Town

In this role as Marketing Co-ordinator, you will assist with content planning and coordination across all three properties and support social media, campaign preparation and digital marketing activity.

Part of your role will be to capture photography and short-form video content across guest experiences, food & beverage, wellness, and seasonal activations, and to assist with identifying and gathering operational storytelling, imagery, and content opportunities across the properties.

You will support external photographers, videographers, influencers, and content creators during shoots, campaigns, and hosted stays, and assist with preparing presentations, campaign decks, trade support materials, and other brand collateral where required.

Supporting guest experience activations, media visits, partnership collaborations, and hosted site visits, where required, and maintaining awareness of operational happenings, seasonal highlights, and guest experience opportunities that support broader marketing and sales activity will form part of your role. Aside from this, you will assist in maintaining a steady flow of fresh, relevant, and usable content into the marketing pipeline.

You have a qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field, with internship, hospitality, or content-related experience, and a strong interest in digital marketing, hospitality storytelling, and social media.

You’re comfortable capturing short-form video and behind-the-scenes content, and you have photography, video editing, or content creation skills. You are familiar with working on social media and digital content platforms, have strong organisational and communication skills, and are comfortable working flexibly around operational activity, shoots, and events where required.

You will bring your strong planning and organisational skills to effectively manage tasks and meet deadlines, whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Your excellent communication skills and willingness to learn will enable you to collaborate effectively with the team and adapt to new challenges. With a proactive approach to problem-solving and a sense of accountability, you will contribute to achieving both individual and team goals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

To apply, please click on the apply button and follow the instructions.

Closing date: 12 June 2026.

We are an equal opportunity employer.

Only short-listed external applicants will be contacted.
