KEY OUTPUTS:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver exceptional service.
    • Conduct daily briefings to assign tasks and share guest details.
    • Provide training to enhance team skills, foster accountability, and encourage growth.
  • Guest Satisfaction:
    • Oversee room preparation and public areas, ensuring they meet guest preferences and lodge standards.
    • Coordinate personalized touches for special occasions, such as anniversaries or celebrations.
    • Respond promptly to guest feedback, taking proactive steps to enhance satisfaction.
    • Guest Hosting:
      • Host guests during meals as per the agreed schedule, ensuring a warm and engaging dining experience.
      • Assist with check in and check out processes as required.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Conduct daily inspections of rooms, public spaces, and laundry operations.
    • Manage cleaning schedules, laundry quality, and maintenance reporting.
  • Inventory and Budget Management:
    • Monitor and maintain stock levels for cleaning materials, linens, and guest amenities.
    • Conduct monthly stocktakes and manage budgets for housekeeping and laundry supplies.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proven leadership and organizational abilities, with experience in luxury hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of housekeeping and laundry operations.
  • Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning methods and resource management.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
