• Define project scope, objectives, schedules, and deliverables
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resources
• Lead day-to-day project execution and track performance

• Prepare and manage budgets and cost forecasts
• Control project costs and protect profit margins
• Oversee invoicing, cash flow, and financial performance

• Identify and manage risks and opportunities
• Ensure compliance with safety (HSE), quality, and company standards
• Implement QA/QC systems and continuous improvement practices

• Clearly define and control project scope
• Manage change requests, variations, and scope creep
• Ensure alignment with contractual requirements

🔹 Stakeholder & Team Leadership

• Lead multidisciplinary teams and provide direction

• Mentor staff and support team development

🔹 Procurement & Contract Management

• Manage contracts (NEC/FIDIC) and subcontractors
• Oversee procurement processes and supplier performance
• Ensure contractual compliance and risk allocation

🔹 Project Monitoring & Reporting

• Track progress against scope, cost, schedule, and quality
• Provide regular reports to clients and senior management
• Implement corrective actions where needed

🔹 Project Closure

• Ensure completion, handover, and client acceptance
• Finalize documentation, contracts, and financials
• Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
• Additional degree (advantageous):
  • Business, Engineering, IT, or Project Management
• Preferred certifications:
  • PMP
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • SACPCMP (Pr.CPM)
• Master’s degree (advantageous)

⏳ Experience

• 10–15+ years in project management within engineering/energy sectors
• Experience managing large-scale projects (~R150 million)
• Background in:
  • Renewable energy (Solar PV, Wind)
  • Electrical infrastructure (substations, distribution lines)
• Proven experience in:
  • Multidisciplinary team leadership
  • Contract management (NEC/FIDIC)
  • Cost control and commercial delivery
• Strong track record in HSE compliance
