Alpha is seeking LLB Graduates:
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates wishing to build upon their existing experience by managing a litigated caseload.
You will provide support to Litigation Executives and Claims Handlers as required. Previous experience in Civil Litigation is highly desirable.
Your key responsibilities will include drafting legal documents, applications, offers, orders, and directions; attending telephone conferences; and managing cases in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Additionally, you will review quantum, assess general and special damages, develop case plans, engage in telephone negotiations, and liaise with third-party solicitors, insurers, own insurer clients, and lay clients.
- Manage client expectations professionally and effectively, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Prioritise workload efficiently by creating clear action plans and meeting deadlines in line with client requirements.
- Draught and review legal documents including applications, offers, orders, and directions.
- Attend and contribute to telephone conferences with clients, solicitors, and insurers.
- Conduct detailed case management in compliance with SLAs and internal guidelines.
- Review quantum and value both general and special damages accurately.
- Develop and formalise comprehensive case plans to support litigation progress.
- Engage confidently in telephone negotiations with third parties and clients.
- Liaise regularly with third-party solicitors, insurers, own insurer clients, and lay clients to maintain positive working relationships.
- LLB Degree (essential).
- Minimum of six months’ legal experience as an Admitted Attorney or Candidate Attorney.
- Experience within the Civil Litigation field of law.
- Familiarity with Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), Road Accident Fund (RAF) claims, third-party claims, contract law, and insurance work is advantageous.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
- Professional and confident telephone manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
