We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. This role is ideal for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their section and is committed to delivering consistently high-quality dishes.

Minimum Requirements

• Culinary qualification from a recognised institution
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel or high-volume restaurant
• Experience working in a 4 or 5-star hotel or busy restaurant environment
• Solid understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends and public holidays
• South African ID or valid work permit

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for your designated kitchen section, ensuring consistency and quality
• Prepare, cook and present dishes according to the hotel’s standards
• Ensure all mise en place is completed efficiently and accurately before service
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and organisation within your section
• Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising waste
• Support junior chefs and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth service delivery
