                                                          PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

Responsible to provide administrative support to the ETQA Division to ensure that all Learner records are accurate, and achievements are quality assured on the MIS system according to laid down policies and procedures.

Key Performance Areas

Outputs

Responsible for the Certification Approval Process                                               40%

  • Check for capturing by the service provider captured on MIS
  • Check for captured Learner Achievement on MIS
  • Quality Assurance of credits on MIS
  • Report on recorded Learner Achievement
  • Analyze and report on QA Process as recorded

Administration support to OQSF related functions                             30%

  • Assist on EISA Exam packs preparation
  • Invigilation and monitoring of EISA Exam session
  • Prepare travel for functions within the ETQA

Stakeholder Engagement                                               30%

  • Act as the first point of contact for providers.
  • Receive queries from relevant stakeholders via email, telephone calls and walk ins.
  • Resolve the queries which need not be escalated.
  • Escalate queries which are more complex to the Certification Specialist for resolution.
  • Log specific system  issues on MIS Support.
  • Receive Feedback from MIS Support and addressed back to training Providers.
    • Engage with the Training Provider regarding verification request forms or any other enquires which may apply.
    • Engage with Learning Administrators to confirm verification of training providers.
    • Interact and provide information and documentation to auditors
      • Upskill and build capacity for providers on the processes and procedures applicable to the service provision.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent and;
  • NQF 5 level Qualification in Public Administration or related field.

Preferred Requirement: NQF 6 Qualification in Business / Public Admin qualification.

Experience

Minimum Requirement: 1-3 years’ administrative experience.

Preferred Requirement: The above experience in the Seta/Public Sector environment.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge

Minimum Requirement: Knowledge of sector regulation compliance

Understanding of SETA

Preferred Requirement: Regulation Compliance Understanding/knowledge of relevant South African legislation

including PFMA

Skills

Minimum Requirement: Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines under
