Overview: 

IZI South Africa (PTY) is a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions and is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Risk investigator to join our team in Newcastle. Reporting to the Risk and Security Director the Risk Investigator will play a critical role within the business ensuring that investigations are properly done. The Investigator provides an investigation service to a customer, in compliance with legislation, Company policies and procedures.

 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure that all incidents / allegations of criminal activity involving IZI South Africa customers and employees are investigated.

  • Ensure that all accidents resulting in injury, damage or loss involving IZI South Africa employees are investigated.

  • Ensure that a case docket is created for each investigation, recording all relevant information, witnesses and securing evidence required for a criminal prosecution, disciplinary process or liability claim.

  • Implement and maintain effective management of case dockets, ensuring that appropriate processes and actions are initiated, finalized and recorded. 

  • Identify and recruit informers, to ensure effective information gathering within the region regarding criminal activity impacting on IZI South Africa customers. 

  • Establish and maintain effective communication with local SAPS structures.

  • Provide appropriate assistance to SAPS officials to ensure criminal prosecution of cases investigated on behalf of IZI South Africa customers.

Minimum Requirements and Experiences:

  • South African security legislation

  • G4S Operational Policy and procedures

  • G4S HR Policy and procedures

  • Criminal Procedures Act

  • Communication (written and verbal)

  • Negotiation

  • Managing Conflict

  • Managing professionally   

  • Computer literacy

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Driver’s Licence
  • PSIRA Grade B
  • Registered Security Service Provider
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in investigations
