Mission Statement: To provide deep technical insight and analytical support that improves renewable energy asset performance, resolves complex issues, and reduces operational risk across the Matriarch portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse operational data from monitoring platforms, IoT devices, and metering systems to identify faults, trends, and performance deviations.
- Investigate production anomalies and system alarms to diagnose root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the Operations and Asset Management teams with technical insight, reviews, and engineering guidance.
- Review engineering packs, as-built documentation, and commissioning data to validate system performance and configuration.
- Perform performance analysis and benchmarking to highlight optimisation opportunities across solar PV portfolios.
- Assist with fault finding remotely and provide guidance to technicians and contractors during troubleshooting.
- Evaluate risks to asset performance and provide proactive recommendations to mitigate them.
- Produce clear technical reports and analysis to support decision-making for internal teams and clients.
- Contribute to improving internal processes, analytics tools, and monitoring methodologies.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, monitoring platforms, and electrical infrastructure.
- Experience analysing operational data and diagnosing performance issues in renewable energy systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and system documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Comfortable working across data platforms, monitoring tools, and engineering resources.
- Clear communicator able to translate technical findings into practical actions.
