Do you have strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems? We’re seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Install, assemble, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures (HV/LV systems, motors, switchgear, control panels) in compliance with codes, standards, and blueprints.
  • Inspect, test, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems using appropriate tools to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults on mining equipment and infrastructure to minimize downtime and hazards.
  • Plan layouts, connect components (e.g., circuit breakers, transformers), and assist with commissioning of new installations, upgrades, automation, and energy-efficiency initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including job cards, records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with the maintenance management system.
  • Supervise, train, and develop personnel; cooperate with supervisors and safety representatives, and advise management on operational risks and safety concerns.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Recognized Trade Diploma (N3 level)
  • A minimum of 2 Years, relevant working experience after trade test qualification.
  • Code BE driver’s licence.
