The Role
We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead the front of house at one of Franschhoek’s standout destination restaurants. This role is about setting the tone on the floor, inspiring your team, and delivering a seamless, memorable guest experience every single service.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the daily rhythm of the restaurant, ensuring service runs smoothly from open to close
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team
  • Create a polished, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the restaurant’s identity
  • Manage reservations and flow to maximise both guest experience and table turnover
  • Work closely with the kitchen to ensure timing, accuracy, and consistency
  • Handle guest feedback with confidence, warmth, and professionalism
  • Oversee stock, supplies, and readiness for service
  • Uphold exceptional standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation
  • Drive guest loyalty and repeat business through thoughtful service and engagement

  • Passion for hospitality, food, wine, and service excellence
  • Hospitality qualification is an advantage, but real-world experience matters most
