HR Generalist

You are a proactive HR Generalist and ready to support our HR team in delivering excellent service across all HR functions. The role is dynamic, offering exposure to recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, and HR process management. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and make a tangible impact on our workforce.

You will support recruitment, including candidate shortlisting, interviews, background checks, and onboarding, as well as assist the HR Business Partner with employee relations and disciplinary processes where necessary.

Collaborating with the HR Administrator on HRIS updates, payroll inputs, UI-19 forms, and salary schedules, as well as participating in workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives, will be part of your responsibilities.

Aside from the above, you will provide guidance to managers and staff on HR policies and procedures and contribute to process improvements and ad hoc HR projects.

You hold a Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources Management (Diploma or Degree) with 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality or a large service environment.

You possess knowledge of HR processes, labour legislation, and HR systems, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, be flexible, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Your ability to listen carefully, interpret instructions correctly and deliver work to the expected standard is outstanding. So is your high level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

You'll bring your intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office to manage daily tasks effectively, and your proven expertise in SAGE 300 People will be a distinct advantage. Your excellent planning and organisational skills, coupled with a results-driven mindset and strong initiative, will ensure successful outcomes. With a commitment to quality, a structured approach, and a collaborative spirit, you will excel at providing support and fostering co-operation within a dynamic environment.
