F&B Pool Assistants (X4) As our F&B Pool Assistant, you are inspiring, empowering and results-oriented with a passion for service excellence whilst maintaining standards. The primary purpose of the role is to create a tidy, clean, neat, and safe environment for both hotel guests and staff, and to assist with a wide variety of food & beverage tasks as required by the business's needs, while upholding the company's image. You will assist the Pool Manager and servers with moving furniture to complete their daily tasks, i.e. lifting/moving of pool loungers/umbrellas and completing pool setups in the mornings and pool breakdowns in the evenings. The cleaning of Splash Café restaurant and pool areas, as well as assisting with general cleaning and upkeep of various public spaces in and around the pool areas, will form part of your role. Included in your duties will be to collect pool towels and drop them off at the laundry throughout the day, assisting with delivering food and beverage orders, clearing, and helping the bar staff with bar setups and stock collections from stores. Your Matric Certificate or equivalent and experience in a similar role will strengthen your application. You have strong physical health and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. You are fluent in English, written and spoken and have a can-do attitude and follow through on actions in a timely way with minimum supervision. You demonstrate tenacity and the ability to perform in a fast-moving environment. You approach everything with a service-oriented mindset, demonstrating initiative and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving. Your collaborative nature and flexibility enable you to work effortlessly within teams and adapt to shifting situations.
