We’re looking for a dynamic Outdoor Media Specialist to drive revenue through the sale of outdoor advertising space across FPG’s retail property portfolio. This role is suited to a proactive, target-driven individual with strong sales expertise, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to position our properties as prime advertising locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development – Identify and approach potential clients, brands, tenants, and media agencies to market and sell outdoor advertising opportunities (billboards, digital screens, hoardings, activations).

  • Pipeline Growth – Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.

  • Client Engagement – Develop tailored proposals and pitch presentations; negotiate commercial terms and manage contracts.

  • Account Management – Maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business and high levels of service delivery.

  • Advertising Inventory Management – Maintain an up-to-date database of advertising sites, leads, contracts, and performance reports.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with Property and Legal teams to ensure agreements align with lease terms, municipal regulations, and brand standards.

  • Market Intelligence – Monitor competitor activities, media pricing, and market trends to stay competitive and identify new opportunities.

  • Brand Alignment – Ensure all advertising enhances the shopper and tenant experience while supporting FPG’s brand positioning.

  • Site Management – Conduct regular site inspections to assess and showcase available advertising opportunities.

  • Financial awareness in pricing, margins, and ROI

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organised with strong pipeline and deadline management

  • Attention to detail in contracts and campaign execution

Requirements:

  • Matric plus a diploma/degree in Advertising, Marketing, Media, Sales, or Business

  • 3–5 years’ proven sales experience, ideally in outdoor media, advertising, or commercial property

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets

  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport (essential)

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms
